What is Direct Access?
Direct access means you can be evaluated and treated by a Physical Therapist without doctor’s referral.
Horizon’s team of specialized therapists are licensed professionals able to initially manage musculoskeletal and movement disorders in patients. If the therapist feels that the patient’s care goes beyond the physical therapy scope of practice, or if physical therapy is contraindicated, the therapist will refer the patient to an appropriate licensed practitioner.

Protecting Against Coronavirus
In addition to an in-person appointment, we offer virtual “Telehealth” visits where we monitor progress and exercise technique for those unable to make an in-person appointment. We also offer a Home & Go Program where patients receive an initial clinic visit, then are provided with exercise and instructions to complete at home to reduce community exposure.
