Quick Tip: Make Your Own Homemade Ice Pack

How To Make Your Own Homemade Ice Pack

A lot of people twist their ankle or sprain their wrist and want an ice pack handy. Although some frozen corn or peas work, a more permanent solution is just as simple. It only takes two parts water, one part rubbing alcohol and a ziplock bag.

Measure out two cups water, and one cup rubbing alcohol. (The rubbing alcohol is going to prevent the water from freezing solid.) Once you pour in your measurements, take all the air out, and double ply the bag just incase it gets a leak or crack in it.

The result after putting it in the freezer, is a nice moldable cold ice pack that you can put around any joint or part of your body you need. You can reuse it time and time again.
