Occupational Therapy Improves Activities of Daily Living

April is Occupational Therapy Month where we celebrate the efforts of our dedicated specialized therapists. Occupational Therapists work closely with injured, ill or disabled patients to help them do the things they want (and need to do) and to fully engage in daily life. Unlike other therapies, occupational therapy has a holistic perspective, in which the focus is on adapting the environment and/or task to fit the person, and the person is an integral part of the therapy team.
